McGuire Family Furniture Makers, a small family owned and operated company, strives to provide it's customers with a product of unequaled quality and value.
Our interest in furniture making began in the early 1970's with a small workshop and
showroom in Centerville, Ohio. After 6 years, a desire to develop our skills and expand our knowledge of fine furniture led us to New England where we chose Vermont, for its beauty and rural nature, to raise our three children. Since the beginning they have been an integral part of our business activities and from an early age developed interests that closely parallel ours. Upon Meghan's graduation from college in 1989, the beginnings of McGuire Family Furniture Makers was formulated, and three months prior to Michael's college graduation in 1991, production of the furniture included on this web site began.
Isle La Motte, Vermont, a small island in Lake Champlain, fifty minutes
north of Burlington, Vermont, and fifty minutes south of Montreal, Quebec, is home to our
Vermont workshop and showroom complex.
